State of Data in the Lehigh Valley: Community Trends at a Glance Report Release
November 16 @ 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
We are excited to announce that the annual State of the Lehigh Valley: Community Trends at a Glance will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Close to 200 community members attended the report release last year, discussing issues of vital importance to the Lehigh Valley. The event typically receives significant media coverage.
The State of the Lehigh Valley is authored by faculty researchers representing the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) as well as members of community organizations. It is an annual publication of the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium (LVRC), itself a collaboration of academic researchers, public officials, nonprofit organizations, and the business community.
This year, the report focuses on the state of data collaboration in the region – how data is collected, who is using it, and what are the benefits of sharing. In addition, we are planning to offer targeted workshops on data sharing across stakeholders toward concrete action. The report will be made available electronically to registered participants in advance of November 16.
The State of the Lehigh Valley event will be held in the Gerald White Pavilion in the DeSales University Center. Please feel free to contact us at SOLVsponsorship@lvaic.org.
Registration will open October 2, 2017.
