LVEES 2022

Lehigh Valley Ecology & Evolution Symposium 2022
Saturday, April 23, 2022

LVEES Full Schedule

The 2022 Lehigh Valley Ecology and Evolution Symposium (LVEES) will occur on April 23. We will conduct LVEES virtually again this year, using a platform called Gather Town. We plan for the meeting to last approximately 4 hours, starting at 9 am. The program will include three presentation formats: a) traditional talks (live 10-minute presentations + 2 minutes for questions); b) lightning-round talks (pre-recorded 5-minute presentations + a short live Q & A session during the meeting); and c) posters.

Registration will be free for students and postdocs; faculty members and other attendees will be charged a $10 fee. A link for registration will be sent out before the end of March. The registration deadline will be April 15. Information about how to use Gather Town will be provided after registration.

In the meantime, to facilitate planning the day’s schedule, we ask anyone who is interested in giving a presentation to complete a short survey by March 25. The survey will ask for a preliminary presentation title, as well as for presentation format preferences. Once we receive the survey responses, we will assign a presentation format to each respondent. If more people would like to give a talk than space will allow, we will give graduating students priority. Any student not assigned to a talk will have the opportunity to present a poster.

Please forward this information to any members of your lab who may be interested in giving a presentation, so they can complete the survey (Link below).

We look forward to seeing you on April 23!

Best wishes,
