Katie P. Desiderio, Department Chair and Associate Professor of Management at Moravian College.
In recognizing its goals toward inclusive campus climate and expanding the capabilities of faculty and staff, LVAIC is hosting a Behavioral Interviewing workshop on November 2, 2018 at Moravian College. This interactive workshop will provide search committee members with a deeper understanding of the impact behavioral interviewing can have on successful candidate interview and selection.
This is not the first of its kind in the LVAIC spectrum of programming, and the goals of this program included the ability for participants to:
- Recognize the value of utilizing experiential interview questions;
- Evaluate current interview processes, questions utilized in department/institution; and
- Practice utilizing behavioral based interviewing technique.
In analyzing the work of faculty and staff in the search process, LVAIC recognizes this as an opportunity for join professional development that connects members of the LVAIC community across disciplines and campuses.
This program will be co-facilitated by Charlene Bergstresser, Program Director at LVAIC, and Katie P. Desiderio, Department Chair and Associate Professor of Management at Moravian College.
Registration for this event is open and members of the LVAIC community are all encouraged to attend. Learn more and complete your registration on the event page of the LVAIC website.
