June 13, 2019, @ 9:18 AM

The Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges is pleased to announce the new Director for the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium (LVRC), Dr. Christine Carpino.
As a consortium of the colleges and universities in the Lehigh Valley, the LVAIC team facilitates and advances collaborative initiatives across its member campuses. One of LVAIC’s most impactful collaborative programs is the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium (LVRC), which promotes faculty and student research partnerships with government, non-profit, and for-profit entities to support the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley. The LVRC Director works closely with an Executive Committee of faculty from our member campuses to coordinate specific research projects and publish an annual State of the Lehigh Valley report.
Dr. Christine Carpino is an Assistant Professor of History, Literature, and Languages at Cedar Crest College, with her PhD from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously, she served as the Research Coordinator for the LVRC, as Collective Impact Fellowship Program Evaluator for the Rider-Pool Foundation, and as the Primary Investigator on several projects for the research consortium over the last 5 years.
On behalf of all our member institutions and communities of practice, we are very pleased to support Dr. Christine Carpino’s transition on the LVAIC team.
