Facing Higher Education’s Future Series: Community Expectations and Perceptions of Higher Education

November 8 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

To commemorate 50 years of collaboration, the LVAIC is launching a year-long learning series for our campuses.  As a community, we will explore key topics relating to the shifting landscape of higher education.  This program combines speaker events, study groups, and workshops to promote understanding of the impact of this changing environment.  Navigating these opportunities together will prepare us for active participation in meeting these challenges on our campuses.

The fifth event in this series will be focusing on Community Expectations and Perceptions of Higher Education: Exploring what the media and government are hearing from the external community about higher education.

The speakers for this event will be Susan Snyder, Higher Education Writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Congresswoman Susan Wild, Representative for Pennsylvania’s 7th District. Their full biographies are available on the event series website.

This event will take place on November 8, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Cedar Crest College. The schedule for the day will be as follows:

  • 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Registration and Continental Breakfast
  • 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Program

Visit the event series website HERE for more information.
