LVAIC UDL Workshop: Course Design for Inclusion

January 21, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Free

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework used to guide the design and development of learning materials and environments flexible enough to support individual learners through differentiation, personalization, and thoughtful planning. Learn how to develop flexible, compliant online, hybrid, and face-to-face materials and environments that accommodate diverse learners’ needs and differences. Focus on cognitive science, learning theory, and instructional/learning design while developing activities. In this workshop, we consider and explore the following questions: 1) What is UDL?, 2) What is ADA?, and 3) How do we design with inclusion in mind?

Please join us on Thursday, January 21 from 9:30 am-12:30 pm on Zoom (with plenty of Zoom breaks).

Facilitated by Farah Vallera, Professor of Practice in Teaching, Learning and Technology at Lehigh University.
