Hold the Dates and Call for Presenters: LU Student Affairs Research and Assessment Symposium

Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to announce the 10th Annual Student Affairs Research and Assessment Symposium, which will take place March 26th and March 27th, 2024.  After holding the symposium remotely for a few years, we are excited to announce that we will be holding the symposium in-person this year on March 26th, as well as allowing for additional remote presentations on March 27th.

The Symposium has become a signature collaborative effort as it brings together a broad array of practitioners, researchers, and faculty in an effort to:

  • Highlight the use of data for decision-making and continual improvement
  • Connect with and learn from colleagures within our LVAIC community
  • Provide professional development opportunities for advancing assessment skills

The symposium will provide an opportunity to share what we are learning about the student experience and how we use this knowledge to inform and continually improve our efforts of supporting students and promoting sutdent success in and out of the classroom.

Save the Dates:  The symposium will take place March 26th in Lehigh’s Health, Science, and Technology Building, and March 27th, on Zoom.  Click to save the dates to your calendar.

Call for Presenters:  If you have research, assessment, or evaluation projects that relate to the college student experience, we hope you’ll take this opportunity to share your knowledge and insights.  For those interested in presenting,  please complete this Google Form by March 1st.  There will be an option to present for a 30-minute or a 50-minute session.

Pass the Invitation Along:  Please consider passing this professional development opportunity along to your colleagues and encourage both presentations and attendance.  There will be further information to come regarding registration for the event.

If you have any questions about the symposium, please contact Meg Munley Stone, Director of Student Affairs Research and Assessment, at mam6@lehigh.edu.

Thank you,

Ric Hall
Vice President for Student Affairs
