LVAIC Global Student Conference

Who? The Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) is sponsoring a Global Student Conference to advance cultural research across the LVAIC campuses and partners. This conference includes posters by international students conducting research and other students working on global topics. (for example, study abroad students, Global Studies majors, foreign language students, and any student with a global idea) 

What? Through this conference, international students are given the opportunity to present research to a broad audience which enhances their contribution to the larger community. Other students who are studying global topics are also asked to submit a proposal. At this conference, both groups will be in the spotlight and share their research with faculty, staff and other students in the community. 

How? The proposals can be papers you are working on or something you have completed in previous semesters. Use your faculty and staff for help. A selection committee will review and notify the students. The students will then present their work at this engaging and interactive event. The standard format will be poster presentations adapted from papers you are working on bur other formats are welcome.
