Lehigh Valley Counselors Tour Brings Dozens to Lehigh Valley Colleges

Each spring LVAIC hosts a program that allows counselors from all over the country to come and explore all the Lehigh Valley has to offer. While here, the counselors where able to tour five of Pennsylvania’s nationally recognized private Colleges and Universities. The three-day tour was coordinated under the Admissions offices of Cedar Crest College, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, Moravian College, and Muhlenberg College. Counselors spend half a day experiencing each campus, meeting with students, faculty, and administrators, and discovering the distinctive offerings of LVAIC’s liberal arts colleges. In addition to learning about the College, counselors were able to learn about college life in the Lehigh Valley.

The first session of the Counselors tour was a success; we hope to continue this success into the second session. Counselors were pleased with the amazing opportunities they saw from LVAIC liberal arts colleges. We hope to to continue our collaboration with the counselors to provide more information about Higher education in the Lehigh Valley. The first session brought 51 counselors from as far as Hawaii to the region for this program.
