Muhlenberg College extends a professional invitation to you and your students to attend the 2025 Living Writers Series this fall. This program is a highlight of our English and Creative Writing curriculum, offering a unique opportunity for intellectual engagement within the LVIAC community.
The series is one of the few in the nation that hosts a semester-long course built around the visiting writers, ensuring a high level of academic discourse during their campus visits.

The United States incarcerates approximately 1.9 million individuals, with disproportionately high impacts on communities of color, those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, and individuals with mental health concerns. These systemic inequities raise critical questions about the role we—particularly institutions of higher education like Muhlenberg College—must play in addressing and transforming cultures of incarceration.
