In the past, this popular LVAIC program showcases the Lehigh Valley region and four of Pennsylvania’s nationally recognized private colleges and universities to approximately 50 school counselors from across the nation. The tour is coordinated directly with the Undergraduate Admissions offices at Cedar Crest College, Lafayette College, Moravian University, and Muhlenberg College.
During a more regular school year, counselors spend a half-day experiencing each campus, meeting with students, faculty, and administrators, and discovering the distinctive offerings of LVAIC’s liberal arts colleges.
In addition to seeing firsthand the distinctive strengths of each individual campus, counselors learn about college life in the Lehigh Valley, the value of the liberal arts experience, and the expanded student opportunities offered through the consortium.
The Lehigh Valley tour is lauded by the National Association of College Admissions Counselors as one of the most respected in the country.
