Women and Gender Studies Conference

The annual conference was again a wonderful opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their accomplishments in April 2016.  Students from LVAIC and neighboring colleges and universities were invited to present high quality academic papers, research projects, videos, artwork, and photography, as well as original poetry and dances.

This year’s keynote speaker is Michelle Issadore. Michelle Issadore, M.Ed. is the Executive Director of the School and College Organization for Prevention Educators (SCOPE), the Assistant Executive Direction of Prevention and Advocacy for the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA), and the Vice President for Operations and Public Information for The NCHERM Group.
